President & Founder, District Drugs & Compounding Center
Dr. Perry has spent more than three decades practicing the art and science of pharmacy compounding — the kind of problem-solving, patient-by-patient work that recognizes healthcare is not one-size-fits-all. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from Creighton University in 1991 and was awarded his Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from Saints Cosmas and Damian Health Sciences College in 2026.
Dr. Perry began his career in hospital practice, serving as Assistant Director of Pharmacy at Hammond Henry Hospital in Geneseo, Illinois from 1991 to 1996. That clinical foundation shaped his patient-centered approach when he founded District Drugs & Compounding Center in 1998. Under his leadership, District Drugs has grown into a trusted compounding practice that creates customized medication solutions for patients whose needs aren't met by commercially available products.
Dr. Perry is nationally recognized for his work in compounding. He spent nine years as an outside clinical consultant for PCCA (Professional Compounding Centers of America) through their Pharmacy Consulting Services division, was named PCCA Pharmacist of the Month in 2012, and received the Illinois Innovative Pharmacy Practice Award in 2008. He has also served two terms on the Board of the International Academy of Compounding Pharmacists.
Consultation Services (Fee-for-Service)
Every patient brings a different story, a different chemistry, and a different set of challenges — which is exactly why Dr. Perry built his practice around individualized care. He offers private, fee-for-service consultations in the areas where personalized compounding most often makes a difference:
Please note: as a licensed pharmacist, Dr. Perry does not diagnose medical conditions or prescribe medications beyond what Illinois law permits. Consultations are designed to work alongside your physician and care team to support better therapeutic outcomes.
Outside the PharmacyWhen he's not at District Drugs, Dr. Perry enjoys fishing, camping, and spending time with his family and church community. He believes individualized medicine remains one of the most powerful tools in modern healthcare — and that great compounding is, at its heart, the careful, unhurried work of solving the puzzle that mass-produced medicine can't.
